Kellogg waive 我的interview 囧

收到Kellogg通知，waive我的interview。雖然之前就知道申請Kellogg的interview不是必須的，但收到這樣的信，心裡頭還是有一些揣測不安。由於我是最後一輪申請，台灣，甚至是中國的申請人數勢必大幅降低，學校很可能根本就不安排當地校友面試。但，也有另一種可能，就是今年申請最後一輪的人突然增多，校友忙不過來，就先waive申請者的interview。

不論哪一種可能，沒有直接拿到interview的心情真是七上八下...

Dear Lulu,

  Thank you for your request for an alumni interview.  There has been a significant increase in the number of interview requests this year in your area; therefore we can not accommodate your request without making excessive demands of our alumni interviewers.We are waiving your interview requirement so as not to delay the submission or processing of your application.  

Please be assured that this waiver will in no way negatively impact your candidacy.  The Admissions Committee understands and expects these conditions and will certainly take them into consideration when reviewing your application.  The interview is a single factor in your evaluation and is by no means the most important criterion for admission.  The committee will contact you personally if they feel they need further clarification on any aspect of your file.
